After more then six years we can proudly
say that we run one of the most
beautifull places in Costa Rica. Still
unknown by the big crowds, we offer you
exactly that what brought you to Costa
Rica in the first place. Nature and
nature only, nature as it
was created.
In the heart of the project you will
find the most impressive waterfall of
Costa Rica, throwing itself 300ft into
an old extinct volcanic crater. Come and
explore this unveiled diamond.
Go down all the way to the base of the
waterfall, it will be worth every step down and
back up.
With an elevation of 1.200 meters we
always have nice temperatures year
round. And even during the rainy season,
if not especially, nature shows it's
real beauty!
So please put Catarata
Del Toro on your 'Must
See' list.
We are perfectly located in the
unexplored mountains of Bajos
del Toro Amarillo, Sarchi, just
north of San José. Right in between
volcano Poás and national parc Juan
Castro Blanco. Easy accessible when you
travel to Arenal from Sarapiqui or San
Jose. Opening
hours daily: 07.00 - 17.00 hours.
Entrance fee $10.
Only 45 minutes north of Sarchi, 30
minutes east of Zarcero or 15 minutes
off route between Sarapiqui and Arenal. Coordinates: N 10°15´262" W
84°16´283’’.
