Driving tips for Costa Rica:
If you have a
driver license you should be able to drive in
daytime and nighttime, drive slowly and
carefully, expect the unexpected (never be
surprised or get angry it is just Costa Rica and
not downtown Fort Lauderdale), obey the laws
(tickets are high!), know what is
North, South, East and West, use a map and
common sense, always have a good spare tire
and know how to use it, flashlight and
drinking water, fill up the tank when you have the
chance and please do not forget to enjoy the
amazing views. Enjoy!
And if you want to drive off the beaten paths?
Welcome, now you will see the real Costa Rica.
If you think that you are lost...just keep
going! Do not forget to buy a towline, extra
drinkingwater, food, and buy in the first
'Ferreteria' you see a machete, a long
one! And use common sense double! Keep
driving! Enjoy!
