Notes

Trails	Tour is all the way to the bottom of the most impressive waterfall of Costa Rica, it throws itself 90 meter into an old extinct volcanic crater. First 500 meter of the trail is flat and has several fantastic lookouts, second part is also 500 meters with steps with high impact. People with heart conditions or any other medical condition, older people, pregnant women, etc. should not go down. For the rest of the people they need to take their time coming back up. The steps are made of concrete including the railings and it has several sitting area’s, views are incredible. There is also a forest trail of 1 kilometer where you can experience the cloud forest. You will be amazed! Time needed minimum 1,5 hour, including lunch 2.5 hours No reservations needed. Minimum persons: n/a. Maximum persons: n/a. Cancellation policy: n/a.
Rappel	Please contact us prior to reservation, reservation needed. Only healthy & strong people. Only when weather is right. Entrance trails included. Best time early mornings. We use first class European equipment and 2 lines. Age minimum 15 and maximum 60. Minimum persons 4, maximum persons 8. Time needed for a group of 4: ± 90 minutes and for a group of 8: ± 3.5 hours. Rappel is 90 meter next to the waterfall, experience is maximum. The management reserves the right for any safety reason, to postpone or cancel the rappel at any moment or to exclude one or more participants. In this case deposits and/or payments will be fully refunded. In case of ‘no show’ or withdraw or exclusion during the activity there will be no refund. In all other cases the management decides. Guide speaks English/Dutch/German/Spanish. Cancellation policy: minimum 24 hours in advance: n/a, same day or ‘no show’: 50%.
Hiking to Poas	Reservation needed. Duration 9 hours.We only can do this under certain circumstances. Only with the right people, at the right time, with the right weather conditions etc.. Once on the move there is no turning point! The management reserves the right for any safety reason, to postpone or cancel the hike at any moment or to exclude one or more participants. Lunch	Reservations needed only for groups minimum 24 hours in advance.Includes one hot meal of choice and a natural juice or soda. Alcoholic beverages are not included. Lunch served from 11.00 - 14.00 hours. Minimum persons: n/a, maximum persons: 40. Cancellation policy: minimum 24 hours in advance: n/a, same day or ‘no show’: 50%.
Rooms	Reservation needed minimum 24 hours in advance. Maximum 2 persons per room. Breakfast and trails included. Check-in 13.00 hrs, check-out: 11.00 hrs. Lunch and dinner not included. The rest of the amount has to be paid upon arrival. Internal rules	It’s forbidden to: - practice yoga or any other kind of meditation. - make commercial videos, photos, audio or otherwise. - do any outdoor activity, other then walking/hiking such as rock climbing, rappeling, canyoing, swimming or any other activity, without a written approval of the management. Failure to do so will result in handing over to the local authorities and legal prosecution. - extract plants, animals, rocks or any other material. - picnic or bring in food or drinks. - smoke or litter the place. - walk outside the trails. - disturb nature in any way such as screaming or yelling but not limited to those.
Limitation of liability	UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, PERSONAL INJURY (INCLUDING DEATH) AND PROPERTY DAMAGE OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OF OUR FACILITIES, MATERIALS, TRAILS, TOURS, OR WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
